What do we do?

In the pursuit of audio nirvana, means and goals can vary widely and we like to make the most of any opportunity we get to improve one’s experience. These improvements can be achieved through both macro and micro approaches to the system as a whole without regard to the level of components one already owns. Sonic bottlenecks lurk in areas that many consumers are unaware of and the consequence is that you pay for manufactured obsolescence. Our goal is to maximize your experience by applying the finest components only where they count. If you think that our custom amplifiers are a way to experience this, you are correct. If you think that careful upgrades to the gear you already own is a way for you to experience this, you are correct. If you think that our custom crossovers are a way to experience this, you are correct. If you think that some of this sounds impractical, you are also correct but the good news is that I will come to you and do the work. If we find that your goals align with more serious considerations then so be it. I’ll pack my bags.

  • A dirty little secret in the audio industry is the use of sub par components in one of the most important positions in any system, the crossover. The potential gains in resolution when using the level of components that we do can not be overstated. This means that we can totally transform the user experience from one of enjoyment to one of amazement, eliminating this often ignored sonic bottleneck. Please inquire about custom crossover options through our Contact page with the make and model of your speakers and some goals you have in mind

  • We offer upgrade paths for owners of tube based audio components that are looking to get more out of what they already own. Major gains can be had with some internal component upgrades that include low mass I/O, coupling capacitors, filter capacitors, fine conductors, and fuses. While we do offer bespoke amplifiers, one can improve what they have and love, easily and affordably without the hassle of demos and returns.

  • Only the finest audio components available are chosen for our designs including V-Cap, Path Audio, Mundorf, Duelund and Goertz

  • Our product is built to order making lead times a case by case scenario with estimates given at consultation. Generally, one can expect delivery of their custom built audio components within 2 months of the date of confirmation. Depending on the circumstance, I will often hand deliver your custom amplifiers so consider other upgrades that may be worth exploring while I am there. A simple resistor swap in a crossover can be a revelation so if you can tell me what you want to improve, I should be able to improve it.
